Key Leadership
The people who comprise NetComm are not simply technologists. They are also problem solvers, strategists, and artists. The NetComm team is composed of insightful individuals with diverse backgrounds, whose sound business acumen and extensive technical expertise are reflected throughout the organization.
| John GravesChief Executive Officer | A 30-year veteran of IT business solutions, John Graves is co-founder and visionary of NetComm; he continues to lead the company as CEO. Prior to founding NetComm, John had a 10-year career in the federal government, including service as deputy budget director for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. His experience in federal financial management inspired NetComm's creation of the widely successful Visual Status of Funds (VSoF) financial management application, now the Status of Funds Internet Edition, known as SOFiE. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland and studied Electrical Engineering at Yale University. The father of four and an avid runner, John has served as a high school cross country and track coach. He also enjoys hiking, gardening, and running with his wife, Stella. The two have four children and two granddaughters. |
| Stella GravesChief Operating Officer | Stella Graves' career as a personnel specialist and administrator spans 35 years. As co-founder and chief operating officer, she oversees NetComm's human resources, contract management, and administrative support functions. Stella has 17 years of government service, including serving as personnel officer at the National Library of Medicine. The insights she gained inspired NetComm's creation of Visual Employment Database System (VEDS), now Employee Database Internet Edition, or EDie. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern Illinois. Active in the Montgomery County, Md., community, Stella has been recognized for her organization of community events and for successfully engaging local businesses in the support of public school programs. Stella's culinary skill and abundant hospitality shine-from intimate dinners for 60 in her home to breakfasts and luncheons for hundreds in the community. |
| Mark McWilliamsChief Technology Officer | As NetComm's chief technology officer, Mark McWilliams blends 20 years of software development experience with an understanding of leading-edge technologies and techniques to drive the company's technology strategy. He has a practical understanding of the federal contracting environment as well as extensive experience in the private sector. Mark has specialized in software development since 1987. A prior Air Force officer, he then worked for several federal IT contractors, including CACI and PRC before joining NetComm in 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Grove City College in western Pennsylvania. |
