ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NetComm a leader in cloud-based solutions, continues to provide innovative solutions to the government cloud market by officially achieving Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certification for its Beacon SaaS offering. NetComm’s Beacon platform meets the strict requirements of federal government agencies using cloud computing and provides the highest level of security to vital government information. This also marks NetComm as the first Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) to achieve FedRAMP certification.

“For the past thirty years, it has been our mission to provide solutions and efficiencies to help our customers navigate their HR and financial management processes,” said John Graves, Chief Visionary Officer of NetComm. “Since then, we’ve expanded our services to offer automated e-workflows, online collaboration, digital signature capabilities and property and facilities management. With this new FedRAMP certification, we’re now able to offer these services through our Beacon dashboard across the government, allowing users to maximize productivity and workflow efficiencies.”

NetComm’s FedRAMP authorization provides additional layers of reliability, consistency, and quality while allowing for the expanded capacity to provide fully managed cloud services to federal consumers. The National Institute of Health (NIH) provided the agency authorization and Veris Group conducted the required third-party assessment for the certification process.

"NetComm demonstrated their thoughtfulness in evolving the Beacon solution from a legacy application toward cloud ahead of some of their peers,” said Maria Horton, CEO of EmeSec. “The FedRAMP Agency ATO showcases the strength of their development and compliance with leading edge FedRAMP security.”
